With the front door awning shielding you from the escalating storm-like weather, the motion sensitive outdoor light illuminates the hunt for your keys. After unlocking the sturdy cobalt blue front door and ascending the carpeted stairway, a fantastic warmth washes over you as you kick off your shoes on the landing. Craving a well-deserved brew, you head upstairs to the kitchen and nab your favourite mug from the wall-mounted mug holder/utensil rack, gloriously illuminated by the wide Velux skylight above. Resting on the cosmic granite topped soft close cabinets, you spot the eco-friendly Indesit washer and realise the rain-soaked clothing you’re wearing will surely benefit from a rinse. Noting the opportunity to add a few extra items, you dash to grab them from your carpeted double bedroom downstairs, furnished with a double bed, wooden double wardrobe and matching dresser. You make your way back upstairs, pausing to admire your delightful new bathroom boasting a luxurious heated towel rail, mirrored floating wall cabinet and a deep walk-in shower enclosure. You also pass by your flatmate’s double bedroom, with a wood framed skylight above the double divan bed, stirring just a hint of stargazing envy. Once your cuppa has brewed to perfection, you slink into your spacious living room, sink into one of two brightly coloured sofas positioned beside the four-person dinette, and put your feet up on the minimalist wooden coffee table, fully prepared for a Sherlock, Taboo and/or Death in Paradise marathon.
