Subtle Victorian features combine with calming contemporary comforts in this beautifully decorated two double bedroom apartment. A spacious private garden really spreads the icing on this delightful home.
As you mow the grass of your new garden, you may just spot your partner and/or flatmate in the reception room, sliding the extendable wooden dining table aside for their biweekly Zumba workout. Slipping off your crocs, you tiptoe around them and past the chocolate L-shaped sofa, ascending a few small steps towards the kitchen. Providing yourself with a moment to appreciate your new home, you notice the light flowing in from the original sash window of the kitchen and bouncing off the solid oak worktops, delightfully shiny subway tiling and charming little floating shelves. A utensil rack hangs emptily in the corner, and you ponder whether you should use the rack for it’s original purpose or go wild and hang some cacti from it. The chunky wooden shelf in the bathroom would be a better place for the cacti you instead decide, the ceiling spotlights would show them off fantastically next to the full-sized bath and heated towel rail. Meandering towards the two bedrooms, both tentatively furnished with a walnut effect wardrobe and matching double bed, you spot a gorgeous sunset out the sash window and dash back to your freshly mown garden to enjoy it, silently chuckling at the hellish looking Zumba workout behind you.
Parallel to Victoria Road sits Stroud Green Road, where you’ll discover an unbelievable array of delectable dishes you ought never to forget. One of our favourites would have to be the ridiculously good squid ink burger at Oven & Hearth, and the magnificent curry goat at Lulu’s Caribbean Cuisine is a hard one to beat too. But if all you really want is a coffee that’ll knock your socks off, try Vagabond (you’ll thank us later).
